Adrien Brody Talks About Turning Down The Lord Of The Rings: "I Remember Feeling So Stupid"
Speaking to GQ, Brody said he was in the mix for a Hobbit-like character, but he was after something else, and he ultimately passed on appearing in the movie.
"They were casting The Lord of the Rings. It was some Hobbit-like character, surely ... I was looking for something else."

Brody won an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Pianist. He will be seen next in Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch, which releases on October 22 in the US.
