It was announced on September 28, 2021, by E! that the couple got separated after about 2 years of romance

The news came after the couple shared on the social networks a romantic trip to Santa Barbara just a month prior the announcement
But fans were starting to get suspicious after Morgan shared on Instagram that she was feeling "sad and very betrayed.".
After the Instagram message and the separation, most fans believe that Johnny cheated on her despite Morgan has not come out and publicly said Johnny did.

Morgan told her fans that she felt the need to “put every aspect of [her] life on social media” because of her job as an influencer.
